Classes for Children
Summer Program 2010
Guideline to the study of English
We use course books in the classroom. We use the two most popular
course books internationally for English as second language tuition and the
syllabus is excellent.
From time to time
teachers will use photocopies from other books to supplement the learning of
students.
Students have many
opportunities to talk and lessons are very interactive. The will also learn an
enormous amount of vocabulary and grammar.
Due to the age of
students teachers also use educational games and activities in the class to
stimulate the minds and learning of children.
We try as much as
possible to mix the nationalities so we do not have too many of the same
nationalities in one class and children communicate with other children in
English.
Projects
The projects children
work on will be based on the theme of the week. For example a week with a theme
of ‘The media’ will give children the opportunity to create a newspaper in
English or a magazine or a radio or television show in English. Children typically
work in groups for their projects which gives them the opportunity to
communicate in English with other students in the class and make friends.
Teachers
We recruit native
English speaking teachers who are qualified to teach English as a second
language. Many of these teachers already have considerable experience teaching
children English.

enjoyable English course with a holiday in London.
Junior Course
This fun course is designed for 9-16 year olds. The emphasis is on
spoken English and communication activities. New language - vocabulary,
